Stuttgart becomes home for the global electronics manufacturing and embedded systems industries when eltefa (Electrical and Information Technology Trade Fair) opens doors to professionals from all around the world. Known as a premier event in the electrical industry, eltefa has been a power player in the German trade fair landscape since 1981 and has been quick to assume a leadership position in keeping up with advancements across electrical and electronic technologies, industrial automation, building systems, renewable energy, and information technology. Eltefa opens up the world of electronics across seven thematic areas. From switching and control technology to lighting solutions, security systems, building automation, and network technology, the fair encapsulates the full spectrum of the industry. A significant highlight in 2024 is the strong focus on electromobility, a sector that promises to secure Germany's leading position in industry, science, and technology. A key feature of eltefa 2024 is the forum titled The All-Electric Building – Focus: E-Mobility / Charging Infrastructure, organized by e-mobil BW, the state agency for new mobility solutions and automotive in Baden-Württemberg. This forum will address the importance of a comprehensive charging infrastructure that’s essential for the widespread adoption of electromobility. If powered by renewable energy sources such as photovoltaic systems, these charging stations can enable almost climate-neutral operation. Messe Stuttgart, in collaboration with leading market companies, will present a comprehensive overview of electromobility at the special exhibition ""The E-Road – Electromobility Has Priority!"" This exhibition aims to integrate seamlessly into the trade fair activities, targeting both industry professionals and the general trade audience. Eltefa will feature four exhibition halls dedicated to companies specializing in e-mobility and charging infrastructure systems.
