Изложения в UK за Мода

The UK fashion industry has been navigating a challenging landscape in recent years as it grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic, supply chain disruptions, and now, inflation and the rising costs of energy and sourcing. Despite these obstacles, the industry’s holding its own with projected revenue growth and a thriving retail market in the upcoming years. In 2022, the UK apparel market generated an estimated revenue of just under 58.5 billion British pounds. Although marginally lower than the previous year, this figure is expected to rebound in the coming years, reaching over 75 billion British pounds by 2026. Within the industry, women’s apparel consistently holds the largest market share, generating significantly higher revenues than the men's and children's apparel segments. The UK retail market for apparel has shown remarkable resilience with the value of clothing retail sales in Great Britain increasing by approximately 23% in 2022. Several well-established brands and retailers dominate the market. High street giants like Primark and Next, along with online retailers such as ASOS, continue to hold significant market share. The UK apparel manufacturing sector has undergone significant changes in recent years. While the number of apparel manufacturing enterprises has increased over the past five years, the annual turnover of these companies has been steadily declining since 2015. In 2021, the value of clothing exports from the UK fell dramatically, reaching just over four billion pounds. This decline was particularly pronounced for exports to the EU, which were valued at less than half of the previous year’s figures. The UK's exit from the European Union has undoubtedly impacted trade dynamics, contributing to the decline in exports. The UK fashion industry might still be facing ongoing challenges, but conditions are right for it to rebound and maintain its position as a significant player in the international fashion scene.
