Изложения в Hannover, Germany за Животновъдство и птици

Hannover, part of Lower Saxony, which is the central hub of Germany’s agricultural sector, has a well-defined livestock and poultry industry thanks to the region’s rich topology and ample grazing lands. Lower Saxony offers farmers a lot of opportunities from the very fertile Börde regions in Hildesheim to the marshlands along the North Sea. Thanks to its nutrient-rich soils, Lower Saxony claims the title of the largest user of farmland in the country. There’s 1.9 million hectares of arable land that’s used for potatoes, kale, asparagus, blueberries and sugar beets. Of course, the region is best known for its livestock farming, with pigs, dairy cows and chickens thriving in the northern regions. Two-thirds of all broiler chickens in Germany are raised from Lower Saxony. Lower Saxony’s farmers prioritize sustainable and organic pasture farming, making it the pioneering region for green farming not just in Germany, but the rest of the European Union. Local farmers are quick to adopt new technologies to reduce CO2 emissions and ensure that a lot of produce and meat products remain local, living up to the true potential of the farm-to-table movement. That’s what earns Lower Saxony and farms in Hannover, in particular, a stellar reputation for the quality of their products. Notably, Uelzen, a short 86 km from Hannover, hosts Europe's second-largest sugar factory, Nordzucker AG, boasting a substantial turnover of €1.7 million. Hannover, outside its stable agricultural structure, also hosts a number of agricultural fairs, which turn the city into an economic centre for farmers. EuroTier is perhaps the biggest and best example here – a week of demonstrations, product showcases and networking opportunities that last a full week. EuroTier enables Hannover farmers to extend their client networks and break into foreign markets as the trade fair is considerably well attended by international companies.
