Frankfurt’s decorations industry receives a significant boost in economic activity every year when Creativeworld opens its doors. Since its inception in 2011, Creativeworld has rapidly grown to become a pivotal event for local brands and it keeps on drawing increasing numbers of exhibitors and attendees each edition. The fair has built itself to be a one-stop shop for the latest in the decoration and creative sectors. Creativeworld showcases a wide array of products, meticulously organized into four major categories: Hobby & Handicrafts, Graffiti & Street Art, Handiwork & Textile Design, and Graphic Artists’ and Artists’ Requisites. Visitors can find everything from sewing machines, wool, yarns, and textile materials for embroidery to high-grade paints, papers, canvases, palette knives, brushes and easels. This diverse range ensures that professionals and hobbyists alike can source the tools and materials they need under one roof. A notable highlight of Creativeworld 2024 is the charitable initiative undertaken by 95 exhibitors who have donated high-quality trade fair samples to the Frankfurt Children's Office. This generous contribution is providing around 4,000 children in more than 60 children's and youth centers across the Rhine-Main region with an assortment of creative products and decorations. These donations will help to foster creativity and artistic expression among young people, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. This initiative not only supports local communities but also bridges the gap between the international trade fair and the regional creative landscape. Madeleine Michaelis, Project Manager of the Frankfurt Children's Office, stressed on the profound impact of these donations as many organizations lack the budget to purchase creative materials. From 2025 onwards, Creativeworld will be held concurrently with Ambiente and Christmasworld, starting on Friday, February 7, and running for four days. This alignment aims to maximize the benefits for exhibitors and attendees, fostering a comprehensive environment for exploring the latest trends in decorations and creative supplies.
